I’m back to Davao, and back to sleeping as late as 2 AM. I arrived from Manila yesterday (or was that the other day?).
I must say I missed the city. Davao is really different from Manila. While Manila has plenty of entertainment to offer (especially since we stayed in Timog Ave., Quezon City), Davao has a certain level of peace that only it can offer. I have been to Manila a few times and it truly is a nice place to visit (Dami artista! Haha..). Given the choice, however, I would stay in Davao for several reasons — peaceful environment, no typhoons, less pollution, less traffic, simpler life, lower cost of living and safe drinking water right from the faucet!
It’s so nice to be back in Davao, which is almost home to me. I say ‘almost’ because I believe that ‘home is where the heart is’. Mine is still in Manila, but he will be back in Davao soon.
