Iron Man 2 blasted like a repulsor ray today, April 30, in cinemas all over the Philippines. The smash sequel is showing in 13 (THIRTEEN!) cinemas in Davao City on its opening day.

The follow-up to the blockbuster Marvel film did not disappoint in action sequences and special effects. As expected, Robert Downey Jr. is in his usual near-perfect replication of Tony Stark, the ultimate playboy. The comedy is still very much present in this film, like Stark’s playful banter with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and his hilarious narcissistic quotes.
Welcome additions to the franchise are nemesis Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) and mysterious agent Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).
