It was only recently that we realized that the Times Beach shoreline sports a refreshing and breathtaking view. Its best vantage point is at the Baywalk area, where the magnificent replica of Michelangelo’s Statue of David stands. Here are some shots of David in its full glory:
We couldn’t be prouder with our shots, courtesy of our new Nikon camera (judging by the fact that we’re newbies in the field of DSLR operation). But more importantly, we also beam with pride as residents of Davao City, for having a wonderful sculpture in our midst.
We encourage you to visit the Times Beach shoreline, not only because of the Statue, but also because of the bustling establishments that breathe new life into the area.
congrats on your DSLR leah and chito! join FPS na 🙂
we went here a day before my bday. the place looks better than the last time we were there. did you see the “sharks” in the pond?
We used to swim in this part of Times Beach in the 1970s and 80s.
