It’s scorching hot in Davao City today! After 4 consecutive nights of heavy rainfall, here comes the sun.
This sweltering heat brings me back to my younger years, when I enjoyed playing with my neighbors every afternoon. After hours of frolicking under the sun, we popped a bottle of Coke Litro to quench our thirst. The effervescent cola became part of our fun activities. In fact, it has become customary for us to cap off our celebrations with a Coca-Cola in hand.
Coke has always been part of Filipino communities, offering us not only refreshing beverages but also interesting ads, fun events and cool promotions. One of their latest projects is the new video “Madayaw Davao, Madayaw Coca-Cola!” with Buildex Pagales singing the new song written especially for Dabawenyos.
Buildex Pagales hails from Digos City, Davao del Sur. He was promptly dubbed as the “Bruno Mars of the Philippines” after his amazing rendition of ‘Billionaire’ and ‘Just The Way You Are’ in Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2.
