As a videoke lover, I found it strange that we haven’t had a genuine KTV bar in our local malls. Imagine my delight when we chanced upon PiYESta KTV and Resto Bar in SM City Davao Annex. Finally, videoke bar in a mall!
Our first visit in PiYESta was not for singing, though. My sister Ate Josie flew from Manila for a one-day meeting, and we met up with her for dinner. Since we still had a lot of catching up to do, we had to take a pass on using the videoke room and decided to stay in their regular dining area.
The GenSan-bred restaurant offers set dishes fit for 5 people, called PiYESta meals. We chose Number 6, which consists of Fried Tuna Buntot, Binusog na Pusit (Stuffed Squid), Kinilaw, Crispy Shrimps, Mangga’t Bagoong, rice and a pitcher of iced tea, for P1,200. Of all the dishes on the plate, Crispy Shrimps was our favorite.
For P1,500 (consumable) for the first hour and P750 for every succeeding hour, you can use the Kadayawan Room, which is good for 10 to 15 people. For P1,000 (consumable) for the first hour and P500 for every succeeding hour, you can choose from any of the other 3 rooms (Tuna, Maskara and Sinulog), which can accommodate 5 to 7 people. So, you can eat to your heart’s content while belting out your favorite videoke songs.
Once we get another opportunity, we will definitely try their videoke rooms. In the meantime, I’m happy that videoke has arrived at SM City Davao through PiYESta!

Hi Kimberly. Unfortunately, PiYESta KTV and Resto Bar is already closed. Thanks for dropping by DavaoBase!
Nice feature on PiYESta KTV and Restobar! If you like spicy food, you should try their Kura-sticks.
Thanks Lyle! Yun nga eh, we got curious when we saw the Kura-Sticks in their menu. Kaya lang, we’re not sure if we can handle the heat. How does it fare ba?
Let me put it this way — I’m not a big fan of anything spicy but I like PiYESta’s Kura-sticks.
