GoNuts Cookie Butter Donut: A Reminder Of The Home Kitchen

GoNuts Donuts launched its newest flavor — the Cookie Butter Donut — last May 8, 2013 in their Abreeza and Gaisano Mall branches.

Its release was right for the picking, as Dabawenyos are scrambling to look for something new to give to their moms on Mothers’ Day this Sunday.

The Cookie Butter Donut is a sight to behold, and yet so simple and classic. The brown swirls of cream at the top instantly reminded us of peanut butter.

As we took our first bite of this new GoNut (if there is such a term), Wifey and I had different experiences. Her senses picked up “peanut butter”, while my taste buds screamed “cookie dough”. Either way, the donut reminded us of homey goodness! The brown cream topping perfectly balanced the sugary sweetness of the fluffy donut base.

Get it while it’s hot! The Cookie Butter Donut is now available in all GoNuts Donuts outlets in Davao.
