SM City Davao and the Department of Labor and Employment XI, along with its partners will be mounting the Labor Day Job Fair on May 1 to highlight the 112th Labor Day celebration.
“This is the biggest and grandest job fair of the year as we embark to gather 10,000 job openings both for local and overseas employment,” DOLE XI Regional Director Atty Joffrey Suyao shares.
For the convenience of the jobseekers, a One-Stop Shop will be available at the Event Center on May 1. This will be participated in by TESDA, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PHIC), Pag-IBIG, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), National Statistics Office (NSO), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) and Employment and Compensation Commission (ECC).
SM City Davao Mall Manager Lynette Lopez said that beginning April 26, a pre-registration booth will be put up at the 2nd floor of the Annex. This is made possible with the support of the AMA Computer Learning Center and PLDT.
On May 1, SM Lanang Premier will also be putting up drop boxes where jobseekers may just submit their resumes.
