As we welcome another new year, everyone is probably looking back at how 2015 went. DavaoBase has had another banner year in 2015, with so many things that we are thankful for.

Our feature on ’80s memories in Davao City was the most liked, commented, shared, and discussed blog post in our history. Your response was so overwhelming, and it made us realize how Dabawenyos love to revisit the old Davao.
Best Gateway Blog For The Fourth Straight Year
Getting recognition for our blog is a very heartwarming experience, but being awarded Best Gateway Blog for four consecutive years is unexpected and fulfilling. Our gratitude goes out to the Davao Bloggers Society and our avid followers.
Top Google Search Result for Davao Cinema Schedule
It started out as just another informational page on the site, but we didn’t expect the Davao Cinema Schedule page to become as big as it is now. The page is on the top search results of Google for movie schedules in Davao, and has become one of our most visited pages.
Banner Year For Prizes and Giveaways
In celebration of our seventh anniversary, we launched our grandest giveaway to date. We also had several promotions throughout the year, and some of our followers and site visitors received freebies. We’re so thankful to our sponsors who were generous to provide our giveaways.
New Facebook Page at 1,000 Likes
Because of Facebook’s policies, we had to shift our old DavaoBase personal account to a Facebook page. We’re thankful that despite losing connection to our already growing number of Facebook friends, DavaoBase has been given a new lease on life with our new Facebook page. Before 2015 ended, we received exactly 1,000 likes!
