On our second day, we joined a Johor Bahru, Malaysia Tour. Johor Bahru is just a bridge (and a long queue for immigration checks) away from Singapore, so we decided to check it out.
The tour’s most interesting stop was at Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar (or the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque), which is one of the oldest and most beautiful mosques in Malaysia. Sultan Abu Bakar is considered the ‘Father of Modern Johor’.

The tour costs S$33 per person. We started at 8am and finished at around 2pm.
We spent at least an hour in immigration going in and out of Singapore. The Malaysian immigration checks lasted only about 5 minutes! 🙂
