We have finally taken the plunge. After years of enjoying a point-and-shoot digital camera through our Canon Ixus 70, we decided to up the ante and upgrade to a DSLR camera. Help us in welcoming our newest baby: Nikon D3100!
Nikon D3100 with AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR is the newest entry-level digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera. At 14.2 megapixels, it’s easily one of the best DSLR cameras in the country. Nikon D3100 was released on August 2010.
We immediately put our newest tech gadget to the test. As newbies to operating the DSLR camera, we had low expectations on our photo outputs. But wow, we were amazed by the pictures that we took (modesty aside… hehe…). We’ll post our test pictures soon.

Side note: We purchased our Nikon D3100 at FunTronics in Gaisano Mall of Davao. Their attendants were very helpful to us, since they painstakingly taught us how to setup and operate the camera. They also recommended accessories that were very important to maintaining the pristine quality of our DSLR camera.

NIkon D3100 sells for P28,980 at FunTronics. This includes a 4GB SD card. You get 5% discount if you pay in cash. 🙂
