Up Close and Personal With ABS-CBN Stars on Kadayawan

Kadayawan 2011 is not only a time for celebrations and thanksgiving, but also an opportunity to meet stars and artists. I was smiling from ear to ear when I got invited to meet a few stars from the ABS-CBN roster of talents today (August 21, Sunday), over lunch at The Swiss Deli Restaurant.

I was the first one to arrive at the venue, and was eager to dine with the celebrities. And boy, was I starstruck when the door flung open and out came Bea Alonzo! Whew! Her statuesque presence and beauty just made my afternoon amazing. 🙂

Also present in the lunch meet-and-greet were “Maria La Del Barrio” leads Erich Gonzales and Arron Villaflor, who took time to talk to us after the meal.

Diether Ocampo joined his “Guns and Roses” co-star Bea in chatting with us post-lunch. It was Diether who wowed me with his engaging personality and his passion for charity. He was so easy to talk to, like you were talking to a normal non-celebrity.

With great company comes great food (that’s what Peter Parker was told, right?). Thanks to ABS-CBN and The Swiss Deli Restaurant for providing us with the best way to cap off Kadayawan 2011. 🙂
